Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Xponential Automation (ABN 65 645 338 608) (“we”, “us”) governing your use of ASdrawn. You accept them by ticking the box at checkout or when you join a team (existing members accept a new version the next time they open the app), and we keep a record of which version you accepted and when. Using the live demo or the free reference tools is also subject to these terms. If you are using ASdrawn on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

1. The service

ASdrawn analyses engineering drawings with AI to extract characteristics, balloon drawings, and produce AS9102 Rev C first article inspection review workbooks. Its Knowledge feature answers questions from the machine manuals you add. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

2. Your content

• You retain all rights to the drawings, manuals, and other documents you process with ASdrawn.
• You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service: to transmit and process your drawings transiently for analysis; to store the analysis results in your account, together with each drawing’s file name and the text recognised on its pages; to store drawings and screenshots you attach to a support ticket, for up to 30 days; to pass a drawing between your devices and your teammates’ browsers on your local network when the app syncs it; and, for manuals and other documents you add to Knowledge, to store, render, index, and quote them and to answer your questions from them. How your content is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the rights to process the drawings you upload, including any obligations you carry under export control or confidentiality agreements.
• You confirm you have the right to upload each manual you add to Knowledge, for example under your licence from the machine builder.
• If a copyright owner tells us that a manual in your Knowledge infringes their rights, we may remove it from your account, and we will tell you that we did and why. Copyright owners can contact us at support@asdrawn.com.

2a. Export-controlled data

ASdrawn is operated from Australia and processes content using cloud infrastructure and AI services in more than one country.

Do not upload controlled technical data. That covers:

• anything subject to the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• anything controlled under the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) other than EAR99
• anything on Australia's Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL)
• Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
• drawings whose distribution statement limits them to government or defence recipients

ASdrawn is not built or certified for controlled data. It has no FedRAMP authorisation or CMMC certification, it is not registered under ITAR, and its staff are not limited to US persons. The app asks you to confirm this on every upload path: drawings, manuals, control-screen photos and support attachments. If you are not sure whether a file is controlled, do not upload it. We cannot accept controlled files under any arrangement.

Classification of your drawings and documents remains your responsibility as the party who holds them, and we record each confirmation you give. We may suspend processing and quarantine data we reasonably believe breaches this clause.

3. AI output and your professional responsibility

This clause matters more than any other. ASdrawn uses AI vision models, and AI output can be incomplete or wrong — a missed characteristic, a misread tolerance, an incorrect classification.

• ASdrawn assists inspection planning and FAIR preparation; it does not replace review by a qualified person.
• You are responsible for verifying every output against the source drawing before it is used in any inspection, certification, or delivery decision. ASdrawn does not stop you exporting unreviewed output; the review is yours.
• ASdrawn is not a certified measurement device and its output is not itself evidence of conformance.
• Knowledge answers quote your manual but are not the manufacturer’s instructions. Check the cited page before you act on an answer.

4. Acceptable use

• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• No unlawful content, and no processing of drawings you have no right to process.
• No attempts to probe, overload, or disrupt the service, extract its prompts or models, or access another customer’s data.
• No reselling or white-labelling the service without our written agreement.

5. Billing

• Paid plans and usage credits are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy and may change with reasonable notice; changes never apply retroactively.
• Subscription credits are added each billing cycle and expire when the cycle renews. Top-up credits last 12 months from purchase, and you can spend them while you have an active subscription.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Availability

We work to keep ASdrawn reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security, or abuse prevention, and will give notice of planned disruption where practical.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that: the service is provided “as is”; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss arising from decisions made on unverified AI output, per clause 3); and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. On closure, clause 2 licences end and our retention rules govern remaining data.

9. Free reference tools and template

ASdrawn publishes free reference calculators, data tables, and the AS9102 Rev C template for general engineering information only. They are not engineering, inspection, or legal advice, and using them creates no professional or advisory relationship.

• Each value is computed from, or summarises, a published standard, but the governing standard text — at the revision that controls your drawing or contract — remains authoritative. Verify any figure against that controlling standard revision before you rely on it for production, inspection, or certification.
• The tools and template are provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
• You may use the tools and download the template for your own engineering work. You may not systematically scrape, bulk-extract, or republish the reference data or template to build, seed, or train a competing dataset, model, or service.
• As with clause 7, nothing here excludes the consumer guarantees or other rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If we change them materially we will publish a new version, update the version line above, and notify active customers. Questions: support@asdrawn.com.
